The advantage of neon is - no one picks it up ---
as they think it is a highlighter.
The first thing hubs did with his neon yellow Lamy was to use it at the UPS store - then left it.
It was still there in the pen cup untouched hours later - when he remembered about it

Glad the Safari was there! I'd like to see a purple version, and the 1980s green (and orange). I'll probably get the neon green because I got the neon yellow and coral this year after thinking I wouldn't buy those.

A light brown would be cool too.

I thought the 2015 colour for the AL-Star range was copper orange?

Yes, but this thread is about the Safari LE 2015. Someone confirmed Lamy will release another neon color, that is going to be the third neon pen. We are wondering if it is neon orange, because aquamarine and apple green are too close to neon green and neon blue, but you never know. Those threads with pictures of Safari/AL-star collections prove that Lamy likes releasing and changing tones of previous colors, there is a rainbow of colors and some colors that have never been released, no brown or purple Safaris yet.

The Neon Lime is going to have neon ink too. http://tieba.baidu.c...z=1#62983206528

I guess it is going to be fun for those that use highlighters.

Safaris and Al-Stars with matching inks are a great help to visual learners.

It facilitates all kind of studies.

Sentences structures, verbs, grammar, vocabulary, dates, statistical data, different themes...

So the Lamy LimeGreen ink is a highlighter ink?  That certainly puts a damper on things ... I might be saving a little money, after all.

What is Lamy's obsession with Green-Yellow anyway?

They've done, what?, 5 or 6 versions of green or yellow Safaris in only the past decade or so.

Hey! That brings back memories.

Hmmm .... that might actually work! If the paint fumes don't kill you.

Any big fans for Neon Lime ink here?

Had a pack of carts gifted and I don't have a Neon Lime Safari to install into... (suspect gifter is hinting I need to buy yet more Lamy... sigh)

I recently purchased one of these in Lime green. Lovely pen. I would have preferred the Apple Green, but I missed my chance, so I was happy to see this color.

My Charcoal (Umbra in Deutschland) remains my favourite. I read somewhere that the Charcoal was the best selling Safari of the lot. I can see why. For business, it is classy yet understated and doesn't show scratches as much as the shinier finishes.

Works with my Darth Vader costume too..... Just kidding, but you can use it in business meetings and no one points and laughs, or assumes you are trying to draw attention.

Sacrilegious information coming up; it solved my desire for a purple Lamy Safari.

I bought a  purple HERO 359 fountain pen and swapped the nib for a Lamy B.

Result is a purple 'franken' Lamy Safari that writes like a dream and looks divine.

Simples.
