Seeking Information-Yafa Scenario Fountain

Hello Everyone,

So the reason I have made it here is that I am seeking information. My brother had a Yafa Scenario Gift Set that he was not using. I traded some donuts for the fountain pen of the set and have been loving it ever since.

 

I discovered the proper cartridges are the standard long size. But I am looking for a cartridge converter of some kind in a effort to wean off of cartridges. Anyone have any info?

Welcome to the forum. The difference in cartridges is length and the size of the nipple on the end. I believe that Yafa uses the standard international size nipple. This means that a converter like this one should fit.

You are going to have to cut and paste that into your browser. There are a number of converter units that would fit but Monteverde is a Yafa brand. Good luck in your search.

Unfortunately, I lack the skill to look at a photo of a cartridge end and determine the size. I believe that most Yafa pens use the standard international size, also sometime referred to as universal. If you have a pen shop in your town, you may have an opportunity to look at some different cartridges.
