Folks, this is just a reminder that the ignore feature gives one an option that one may use (or not) at ones pleasure. Whether one should or should not ignore the ignore feature is unlikely to find final adjudication in this thread. At least, I don't think so.

I think the "ignore button" gives folks a sense of power, for far too often in face-to-face life that option is not always feasible. Maybe because of my age, I've found it best to just move past those posts I might find offensive without the need of a button. Fortunately, I have not had that sort of issue on FPN. Thank goodness! May FPN always be a source of learning and connection without all the "go to your corner" issues. Yet I've learned in 68 yrs., each to his own, and I will respect that.

That might get a bit recursive. Ignoring the ignorer is like typing Google into Google. The Internet keeps looking at itself looking at itself, ...., until it just clogs up and stops.
