I have it on good authority (from Diamine today) that they have just started to sell refill 30ml bottles from both Gift Sets (musicians and flowers) separately at GB£4.03 each.

 

Unfortunately these aren't the glass bottles like those in the sets, they are the ordinary plastic Diamine 30ml bottles. So to those of you who have sets with a favourite ink in, I suggest you keep your glass bottles for refilling.

 

If you're in the UK you currently need to phone and place your order. You can still pay through PayPal

 

If you're in the US I suggest you send them an email and ask how to order.

Not as far as I am aware, you can take your pick!

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
