I said above that I preferred Ajisai to the other Iro blues, but lately I've used a lot more Asa-gao, Tsuyu-kusa, and Shin-kai. While I still like the color of Ajisai, it is undersaturated, as others have said, and oddly it has a tendency to bleedthrough that is atypical for Iro inks.

It would be easier to discuss the ones I don't like, 1 or 2.
favorites are probably Yam Guri, Tsuki Yo, Ama Iro, Fuyu Gaki at the moment, but that changes a lot. Just bought a bottle of Ajisai , like 10 or 1 others like it too.

The only one I am using regularly is Asa-gao.
Kon Peki was nice, till I tried Sailor Sky High which was everything I liked about Kon-peki and then some. To me it is like Super Kon-peki but since Sailor has discontinued it, I'll probably go back to Kon-peki when my last bottle is done.

I use Yu-Yake (sunset orange) as a daily use red in my office using a broad nib. I produce a lot of hand written documents and Yu-Yake really helps make certain points stand out against my normal Noodlers Black or Waterman Florida Blue.

After reading so many people praise Yama Guri I received a nice BIG bottle of it today from Jet Pens! I was tempted by the new mini bottles but am really glad I decided on the regular size. I can surely see why so many others like it.

My preferences change quite fast. But right now I'm in love with YAMA-BUDO (bordeaux) and FUYU-SYOGUN (gray).

Well I have only one, I really like it: Yama-Budo. Besides that, my only other interests is Ku-Jaku, but have very similar color, so will not rush to buy that.

Franklin-Christoph, Italix, and Pilot pens are the best!
Iroshizuku, Diamine, and Waterman inks are my favorites!
Apica, Rhodia, and Clairefontaine make great paper!

Ranking the colors I own:
5. Asa Gao
8. Ina-Ho (The only one I have no great love for)

Kon-Peki is my favourite, followed closely by Kosumosu. It's odd, too, as I'm not really a fan of blue inks.

I've tried Momiji (pinkish red) & most of the blues mentioned in the earlier posts, but for me, the Tsukushi (Horse Tail Brown) is the most beautiful colour. I use it in my Namiki Royale Urushi Vermilion & I love the way it shades & changes colour as it dries. Whilst superficially it appears similar to the old Waterman Havana brown, the shading is different & it flows beautifully.

Most often in pens: Take-Sumi (for me there's no such thing as "just" black), Fuyu-Syogun, and Tsuki-Yo.
Most disappointing to this lover of green is Shin-Ryoku.
