My name is in the list but I have not received a PM. I am having some PM problems and have emailed Cyber6 regarding this and requested instructions for the group buy via email - my PM box is full and my donation has not been acknowledged, so at the moment I cannot receive new PMs.

I do realize however that I was already in the first list so if that is why no message, I will wait. I only wanted a chance at those that were sold out too fast the first time.

Please add me to the list. Thanks.

Take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly, and try another. But by all means, try something.

I'm in exactly the same position as mhguda - I got ink last time, but was in the first round and haven't gotten a PM. If you're limiting inks based on past participation, I wish that had been made clear up front, certainly before I stayed up for the PM. (I too just want a crack at out of stock inks and new inks.)

I am very sorry you feel this way. We are trying our best to be fair and at the same time keep everyone happy. Now, we know that the second goal is pretty much impossible, but we are trying at least to allow as many people to enjoy KWZI inks.

We have a waiting list of 80+, these are all the people that were not able to get in the Group Buy the first time around. To keep the high quality of the ink, we need to limit ourselves, so the best solution was to give people a chance on a first come/serve basis.

You were quite fortunate to get in the first Group Buy and select a lot more bottles than the current list can. We didn't have a limit on bottles the first time, we implemented one this time around ... again, to give more people chance to get their hands on KWZI.

Overall, we are quite happy that more people are having a chance now.

Ha, this does remind me of an Apple product launch. I'm sure we'll all be able to buy all the KWIZI colors we want, it'll just take a few months. That's fine by me, I still have a bunch of unopened Sailor inks to try yet.

Though, I would like to be included in a future group buy that covers his non-ig blues and violets. There are a few in that range I'd like to have a shot at.

Thank you for arranging these group buys. Your hard work is much appreciated; so looking forward to trying some of the KWZI inks.

How rude of me. Thank you for reminding me to say thanks!

Thank you for organizing this! After having just finished a much smaller group buy I have come to apreciate the amount of work that goes into these. This is a truly wonderful service to the fountain pen community. :D

That’s fair. What I expressed a wish for was upfront communication. Maybe I missed the message, but the first I heard of this rule (which I have zero problem with) was well after I got a PM indicating that I was in, and after ink purchase had begun.

If it's any consolation to those who didn't get in this time around, in the *first* group buy I saw the "We're doing this" and the "Sold out" post within a couple of hours of each other.... Felt like I was standing next to an racetrack, with those Indy-cars zooming by at 200+ MPH. Or an auction my husband and I went to a few years ago of *really* expensive garden statuary -- got outbid by more than we could possibly afford before we ever got our number card in the air ("Huh? What? EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS!? That's almost what I paid for my first CAR....").

Yeah, and what other people said. A HUGE amount of thanks to cyber6 for doing this. Twice (and I gather there will be at least a third round after this).

Ah, wonderful news! But, as I am in Poland, I did not add my name to the group buy. I am super happy to see AmberLea et al arrange the group buys of Konrad's inks and am looking forward to hearing others' experience with them.

I stand corrected. Apologies to those who did not get their due.

Kudos to the entire team for this effort.

Indeed, thanks to all of team KWZI! And sorry, Cyber6, for the PM re: the order form. I completely misunderstood the process.

I suspect none of us are short of ink. ;)

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
