Chances are that they are going to be all gone (no more stubs?!? :crybaby: ) before I have the $$ to buy one, but so it goes - looks as if you have a winner on your hands, Teri!

 

I certainly hope one or more of the happy new owners gives us a review of their Felton once they have had a chance to put it through its paces. :)

Finally got to play with my Felton with flexible stub. A nice wet writer. I'm pleased with it so far. Glad I snagged the stub before they disappeared.

 

It's a small pen, but it's nice looking and doesn't feel overly cheap. I like the filling system as well. Nicely done.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy.       I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
