Having tried it, I'd describe it as a fractionally more orange version of Ancient Copper.

Ah, I always hesitate to post ink colour stuff because have serious doubts that what I see on my monitor is correct, but for what it's worth:

The Pelikan really doesn't bring out the best of this ink; it'll be moving on shortly.

I'm really digging the shade from what I see posted here, but Diamine orange inks seem to have worse than average cases of creeping crud on the nib. Any experience with this so far?

Received my bottle at the weekend, along with Diamine Eclipse. Both colours absolutely brilliant. Agreed, DDO is a lot like Ancient Copper, but it's a purer orange and I like it better.

 

@MCN Diamine AC certainly forms crud, but Diamine Sunset doesn't, and it depends on the nib. In all cases the crud washes off at least. DDO currently in my Carene which didn't show up much crud with AC.
