If you are in the UK, cult pens are still cheaper (without sale) for the 30ml bottles than this place, plus order a few bottles and you get shipping free. Don't know how it works out for those not in the UK.

 

 

Not sure for rest of the EU, but as for the rest of the world, it's cheaper to buy at Cult Pens if you're going to buy 18 or more. Even at 17. Cheaper at Nordic Pen Imports for 16 bottles or less.

 

Personally, I don't think I'll ever buy 18 bottles of ink at once :lol:

Oh dear! :( I was gifted $20 yesterday to buy some of these inks. So I did. Now I am wondering if I should cancel the order if it is generally unreliable? Would be a real pity on two fronts: 1. Having the money to purchase is rare, and 2. getting them delivered to here is also difficult.

 

Advice?

It is not generally unreliable. As far as I can see there have only been problems with that one order.

I've ordered inks from Niklas 4 times, there was a mistake with the first order, but it was fixed. It took between 1-3 weeks to arrive in Australia, which I just put down to the postal system and customs...I can hardly blame the seller for that. Perfectly reliable every single time.

I have nothing but great experiences with NPI. :thumbup: I've bought a whole bunch of pens and inks from Niklas and he has never failed me yet. I highly recommend NPI to anyone who is looking for great deals and friendly service.

One more positive for Niklas.

 

One ink in my order of 4 inks was out of stock. Was asked to pick between an alternate color or a refund. I have many Diamine inks i am yet to try, so opted for an alternate color.

 

The order was shipped within 2hrs of confirming the color. Now the wait for the inks begins.

My package of 9 inks arrived in Greece in 6 days. And out post service is not the fastest. No complains for the service and the price is excellent.

Does anyone know how long shipping takes to the US? Preferably on the east coast?

 

The order I got back in March took almost exactly 1 week from Sweden to Michigan. I don't know about East Coast specifically, but international orders seem to come in at New York, Chicago or Los Angeles. I'd imagine it would only be a day difference or less.

I just received my inks today as well, shipped out last Monday 5/5 and received today 5/15. The green fly fishing lures on the green padded envelope were a nice touch, not sure if that was intentional. :)

Inks landed today! Shipping time to New Zealand was 14 days - which is comparable to other overseas mail coming in this direction.

 

So, I have Ancient Copper, Delamere Green, Imperial Purple, and Teal to try out... but looking at my sorry collection of cheap Asian pens it is hard to pick an instrument. Might have a go with the 78G broad thing.

 

Exciting!

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
