Yes, and the TUL notebooks are also compatible. In another month or so, they will go on sale at Office Depot in time for back to school.

Oh drat, I did not need to know this. On sale, ah so nice. You are the best amberleadavis.

I like the ARC notebooks. I bought 17 leather covered med notebooks from 2 to 5 dollars each on clearance.

I never understand it as opposed to 16 dollars each normally. I just say thank you, a shopping bag would be helpful"

Studio, where *and when* did you find them? I'd buy them.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Found at Staples. I buy so many notebooks i forgot when. But within the last 8 months i think.if the price is 75% or more off i often buy all thats sitting there. I bought 3 large Arc leather notebooks recently for $10.00 ea. About as high as i would go but they are good quality. Staples is 5 minutes away so i am there several times a week to check their clearance rack. Sometimes i get lucky. I am a bit of a hoarder on notebooks for the style i use. I did pass on two Med moleskine there this week. Wrong style but they were about $14.00 off each.

I just had to mention this: Staples clearance two 8.5 x 11 leather ARC notebooks at$12.50 which is 12.49 down from retail. I have too many and not buying them but it's a good deal. Lucky for another person.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
