The Sailor Jentle Miruai ink has returned!

 

I ventured into my local pen shop and I noticed a shipment that just arrived. Turns out it was a box full of the new 2014 Sailor Spring inks! I was pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Miruai among them. I should have taken a photo of the box of inks, but it totally slipped my mind as I was talking with the store employee. However, she said something interesting. She told me that these Spring inks are not going to be limited edition and will be carried along with the normal line of Sailor Jentle inks. Can anyone else confirm this? She did say that a couple of the limited edition Spring inks from a few years ago will not be returning with this line, though. Either way, I was happy to get a bottle of the Sailor Miruai and I will definitely be checking out the rest of the inks later!

 

EDIT: Ignore the ink swab, the paper is really blown out and the photo isn't color corrected.

There is info about returning Sailor LE inks in the thread about Yama-Dori. Quite a few being brought back, & they will be normal production inks going forward.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
