Please, show us a picture of the pen you use today.

 

For me, its a tortoise Pelikan M400 EF old style.

And this nib has a lovely flexibility, it is very smooth!

i used my black on black M1000

'The Yo-Yo maneuver is very difficult to explain. It was first perfected by the well-known Chinese fighter pilot Yo-Yo Noritake. He also found it difficult to explain, being quite devoid of English.

So we left it at that. He showed us the maneuver after a sort. B*****d stole my kill.'

Nice tortise there mate. That version has the nicest colour IMHO.

 

I have others inked as well, but here's the November pocket pen.

My first Pelikan and I'm using it today. The M151 Verde/Nera which I read in this forum that it's really the M150. It came with the ink shown and I'm enjoying writing with it.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
