The Hero comes in various numbers 100, 329, 616 etc etc and in pics on internet - all seems similar.

I want to have a hooded nib Hero FP.

Plz suggest an FP that has section width at least 11 to 12 mm

thanks

Hero 100 is basically a replica of a parker 51 aerometric. It has a bit of heft and is generally better quality than 616 etc etc. I *think * its section is wider than 10mm but it tapers down gradually. It Costs a bit more but I think its worth it. Esp. The flighter version :D

The 329 - which I like - is only 10mm wide in the barrel.

The 613 is 11mm wide.

They are the two hooded (51-like) Heroes that I have.

There's the 'hero 616 jumbo' which is fatter, not sure exactly how fat though.

The Hero 616 Jumbo is the same size as a P51, so the maximum diameter is 12mm. I think the Jumbo is the only Hero at that diameter, with all others being in the 10 to 11mm range.

The word "Jumbo" does sound like it must be bigger/wider than others.
