I made a statement ( 6 January 2016, Waterman -- Stupid Waterman Pens ) that I'll use converters over carts sometimes, but REALLY NOW!!!, this is way to rich for my pocketbook !!

Then your up-keep.

Yes, this happens with some makes of pens.  It gets better when the manufacturer changes the section to use a converter that won't work in the old pens, unless you send the old pen in for a $90 remake.  Then you find the old converters are unobtanium.  You are over a barrel.

Technology marches forward, and ever faster.  Products are obsoleted and there is sometimes no way to maintain an old product.  Not without the expensive overhaul.

Cartridges

Manufactured in France packed in India then shipped to the UK all for £2.79.

I had a little chuckle.

Expensive.

my B&M shop asks EUR 3.15 for a box. That is without P&P, but if you buy 10 of them it will be much cheaper buying here.

I don't know that that is expensive for here in the USA, but that is my favorite Waterman color.  I just try to avoid using cartridges, because they always seem to have dried up when I get around to using the pen next time.
