Thank you for reposting the link, 7is -- it was a really interesting article, and I'm sorry that I missed it when Aborst first posted it (back then I wasn't really looking at a lot of pen brands besides Parker.  I didn't realize that there was a connection between Pelikan and Gimborn (love the Akkerman bottles, of course).
