Options For Pen Wallets

So after fruitless Google searching for an acceptable Pen Wallet, I have now come to ask the FPN for a bit of help in this search.

I am in need of a new wallet, as my current one is rather non-existent-- in other words, I finally amassed enough cards and other stuff to warrant a wallet! And now that fountain pens have entered my life, I want a Wallet that can hold a few pens as well!

Also, I saw a pen wallet a FPN user had ages ago and never asked about it. As to who had it or its location on this website, that is a mystery to me now as well.

I also know of the Franklin-Christoph Command Center folio, but that is not the thing I had in mind.

But a wallet that can hold three pens would be perfect! I'm not looking for a dedicated pen case at the moment either.

Any help/resources/ideas would be great! If nothing comes around, then I could perhaps make my own when I get the sewing machine back up and running.

And maybe this thread could also assist those with the same question as well.

The Franklin-Christoph Penvelope 2 comes to mind as a possibility as it has some extra space in it...

Sula Jane & Earl makes some great products, none that I think fit your needs perfectly, but I wonder if they would entertain a custom order for you...?

I expect others have some ideas beyond these.

Sorry, completely unrelated, but is that a slide rule signature?

Back on topic - Gfeller does custom leather work, but it may be too expensive.

Thank you all for the input so far!

Konis: I am not fond of Ebay at all and have no intention on using it for a long time. :/ But what you posted is indeed what I was looking for! Also, nice pens! :)

  • 3 weeks later...

Pen & wallet. Like the idea, but I would have to go back to wearing a suit or a jacket again. I do carry a small ballpoint in my current wallet. An FP would be perfect. Good luck with your search!

Cheers,

John

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
