This lovely pen/ink stand was made for me upon request by a fellow member. I asked for a stand that i could display my 1670 series (my favorite bottle...love the ink just not my favorite) I wanted something that would show off the square design but also something elegantly simple.

 

Lionheartlee...I just received the pen/1670 ink stand offered on MassDrop. He does beautiful work and the four ink setup on the desk looks awesome. Thank you for being the original commissioner of this lovely piece!

BTW all bottles in the boxes are full 2oz. bottles.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
