0 and not sure I will ever get one. I feel the 146 is perfect size for me right now. Maybe some day but not sure.


WTB Sheaffer Balance oversized with a flex nib, semi flex, broad, or medium in carmine red or grey striated.

By all means, if the 146 suits you perfectly, go with it.

 

Consider a WE though, they are almost all 146s in size...

got a 146 and get my 1st 149 in 2/3 weeks it's for me a B nib and i date the pen from early 2000 but i'll ask you when i'll get it to date it more accuratly

A (quite wide) EF (bi-color 18K) early '90, an earlier special "french market" (18C tri-color nib) M and a gorgeous slightly younger OBB (tri-color 18K).

I think around 5. I am not sure, since I have not inked one up since the october of last year. I used to be addicted to buying 149s, I used to buy them off ebay, service them, enjoy them for a while and sell them on. I kept more than I sold, now I have seem to have suddenly lost interest. I hope the bug does not catch me again.

Only mb I have right now is the Jules Verne. I am wanting a 146 in platinum or diamond.

I have three, a B, O3B, and an OM. All bought new in the last year or two. I would like to eventually have one of each nib type available, but that will take time.

Two. The first has its own desk stand and a fine italic nib. The second is a 18ct two tone gold model with a nib done by Oxonian to a narrow cursive italic. Dont think I will be adding to the 149 stable but I do know a certain tempter who keeps mentioning a 149 in platinum so who knows !

Pen Nut that gold model is amazing.   I've only seen a ball point in that finish.
