Stationary Art Online Based In Hong Kong

I just placed an order from Stationary Art Online in Hong Kong. He has fantastic prices. I searched the web and FPN in particular for references to whether or not this company is legitimate. On the FPN, the consensus was that it is legit. However, the references were all from 2009-2011. I didn't see anything recently. Also, the references mentioned that the owner was a seller on eBay. Apparently no longer or either he's using a different name because I couldn't find him. Anyway, I'm slightly nervous about the purchase. (Not to mention when I created an account, the website said I'd get a confirmation that I never received). Has anyone had any recent experience with this seller? Thanks!

Franklin-Christoph, Italix, and Pilot pens are the best!
Iroshizuku, Diamine, and Waterman inks are my favorites!

Apica, Rhodia, and Clairefontaine make great paper!

I bought four Pilot 78G fountain pens from them a couple of months ago. No problems whatsoever, and as you say, fantastic prices.

I don't think you need to worry. :happyberet:

5 months ago I bought a fountain pen and a converter. (total cost about 45 USD)

Before the order I sent an e-mail for some further information on the product and despite the fact that it was holidays (new year and the like) I received an answer within hours.

They 're great, no need to be nervous.

I love Stationery Art. I think I've made 4 orders in the last 6 months. Great prices on refills and Pilot FPs. Shipping takes about 10 days to Ireland.

If you have a spam filter you might check and see if it caught any reply. Some ISP's have them enabled automaticly and you may need to check via the web based client.

I just now placed my first order with them after reading the replies here. After I ordered it took me to a screen that said the item was no longer available in the quantities I wanted (only ordering 1) however, I received a confirmation email that the order had been placed. Has anyone else had this? I guess I will give it a day or so and then send them an email to make sure. I am still really new to fountain pens and am figuring out where to buy so, this makes me a little nervous.

gthrelkeld, I'd go ahead and e-mail them now. Based on their time of day, they should get back with you soon. I e-mailed them to ask if my order went through since I didn't receive an e-mail cofirming that I had set up an account. (The website said that if I didn't receive one in an hour to contact them). This was prior to my initial post in this thread. A few hours later, I received an e-mail back confirming my order and a notice that I was now in their system. This was impressive because their website says they are only open Monday through Friday. I guess someone there is checking e-mails. I wish you the best!

My Pilot Custom 823 just arrived from them. That was the third or fourth time I've ordered from them, and I have had no problems.

Just went to their site to check them out. TThey are now offering free world wide shipping on orders over $99.00 USD!

No affiliation.

Pardon me, I think I will go back and maybe do some buying :D :D

You'll get better search results if you search for "stationery art" instead of "stationary art".

I have been saving up to get a couple of Japanase pens and they seem like the best deal around. Wished they carried a larger ink selection though, especially Pilot Iroshizuku

They are my favorite store at the moment, I ordered from them a few times and everything went well, they even started selling a product I asked them for. Currently I grasped the free shipping offer and a Pilot Vanishing Point is on the way to my mailbox.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
