In addition to my Tochi, I added a Karin. This is one of Sailor's precious wood of the world series pens. I don't intend to collect them all; but, I thought a second one would be nice to have. The grains on this pen are very beautiful and looking very natural.

 

This is a snap on cap pen and the mechanism seems to be sturdy with a satifying click. The F nib on this pen is a very smooth writer as expected from Sailor. It is a small sized pen; so, it would be suitable for a pocket pen for a short note taking, I believe.

Thank you for these photos! It's such a beautiful pen. I only have one Sailor pen, the 1911 Realo, but I do appreciate the perfection of Sailor. Your pen is also just so perfect. Every little detail is perfectly executed. You're right when you say "as expected" because Sailor can be very predictable in terms of quality, from what I've read and found out for myself.

i love theyr wooden pens,dammageable that they aren"t fitted with one of theyr wonderful 21k gold nib...

A people can be great withouth a great pen but a people who love great pens is surely a great people too...

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
