Wahl Oxford Select-O-Point

Just finished up putting this Wahl Oxford Select-O-Point back together. Many thanks to Syd Saperstein (Wahlnut)for supplying the correct nib unit as the original had been butchered.

Not exactly a top line pen but nice enough for a Dollar pen, it's a pitty about the brassing on the cap band but it seems to be a pretty rare find in the UK.

Very good information. Thank you. I notice that the pen in the Spiegel does not have any bands. It's quite a sophisticated pen for $1.00 with the ink window and the interchangeable nibs.

Here's its twin brother. I replaced the Selectopoint (atrocious) nib with a Wahl #2. Cheap and cheerful but, somehow, a pleasure to use.

Great twin. It's strange how such modest pens can be so interesting.
