Hey everybody,
I'm ordering a custom tap 9/32"x36tpi so you can fit vintage esterbrook nibs into your own sections.
email me if you want one, I'm getting at least 12, more if there's demand.

Thanks

Have you tried a 7x.75 metric tap?

OK, Shawn, I'm confused. I see that a week ago on another thread (no pun intended) you said that a 7x.75 metric tap worked. So why are you getting custom taps made?

And the taps are here!
It's perfect!

Drill with H, then tap, and FIT.

Old Esterbrook nibs no longer have to be put into Esterbrook pens. :D

Cheers!

If I remember correctly, Pelikan M200 nibs have the same threads. Is that right?

Shawn, that's awesome! What material are you working with there with that Esterbrook nib? (If I may ask, of course.) Posted Image

This was a piece of scrap alumilite from Invisible Man (he posts here on FPN).
This stuff is beautiful when turned and polished. I'll put up some pics later on. :)

Taps are very fast with them. Dies take longer. They make good stuff.

Wonder how many others have made pens with these taps? I finally got around to reviewing my pen from Shawn.
