Pen Cap Repair

I have a Elysee Parthenon Fountain Pen and the cap has come loose and doesnt 'click' shut. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I found a very interesting thread regarding a Sheaffer cap that had your problem. I am posting the url below. Please read that thread - look in particular for a post by SteelCity about 2/3 of the way down - do make sure if you try this to do it on an old beater pen before you do so on your Elysee.

Also further up in the thread is a temp. fix that can be done with scotch tape.

The other option of course is finding a pen repair person who can fix the pen for you.

DISCLAIMER: I have NEVER done this, I have NO personal knowledge if this is a viable fix. The solution does come from a very respected Pen Repair Manual: Marshall and Oldfield
