Just for fun I used Diamine Syrah in an 1950s Montblanc 146 with an OB nib and after I'd had enough of the drills, I used a Montblanc 3-42G from the same era with a flexible medium nib and Private Reserve Tropical Blue to play with.

Diamine Bilberry
Nikita Red
Gruene Eel
Iroshizuku Momiji in a Pilot 78G B

This 78G has been drying out or clogging almost between strokes. I notice the pen itself is a heavy writer. IOW, needs lotta pressure to get flow and B line width. Could the fact I jes changed from Rattler Red Eel to Momiji w/o cleaning pen mean I'm getting some clogging or stickyness of ink? Constant stoppage problem didn't occur before ink change, even though pen was always a heavy writer.

I'm real new to the FP world, so am not hip to all the ins/outs of mixing inks.

Currently inked:
Parker 51 with PR American Blue
Cross Century II with J. Herbin Lie de The
Noodler's Ahab with Noodler's Kikita which I received yesterday and so far love.
Noodler's free ED with Caran D'Ache Amazon. I hope I like one of my other green samples from Goulet equally well given the price of a full bottle.

Yes, always clean pens thoroughly when switching ink colors/brands (especially brands!)

All I want is 1 more pen, and 1 more bottle of ink, and maybe 1 more pad of paper. Well, at least until tomorrow. Oh yeah, and throw in that bottle of single malt. Is that asking for too much?

thanks Chris.

This past week, I've been using:
- Lamy 2000 with Royal Blue
- Rosetta Magellan with PR Plum
- Wality Airmail with Lamy Turquoise
- Waterman Phileas with Noodler's BSB

Normally, I switch inks every Sunday but since I have an early AM flight tomorrow, I'll change after landing. Plan is to ink the following:
- Platinum President with Iroshizuku Asa-Gao
- Monteverde Invincia with Noodler's Black Swan / Australian Roses
- Visconti Van Gogh with Waterman Serenity Blue
- Nemosine Singularity Demonstrator with Caran d'Ache Amazon
