Majestic Havasu

 

I have been using this blend for some time, and thought it was time to write it up properly --

This was written using a Perry 105 Iridinoid dip pen that has a folded tip so it writes like a fountain pen, and an ink reservoir.

The shading is more constant and attractive when the ink is in a pen like a Lamy 2000.

VERY NICE

This is more a note for myself. About a month after I posted this blend, Diamine came out with ASA Blue, which is almost identical.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
