Who Wants Free Ink?

As great as this deal is, it gets even better when you throw enough stuff in your cart for free shipping. I ordered a Konrad, the free Platinum ink, a Pilot VP in blue carbonesque with the new extra-fine nib, AND the free bottles of ink with the VP for . . . well, I hesitate even to type the number, lest FPNers crash Todd's site.

Thanks for the killer deal, Todd!

Oh, gee ... thanks, mrwh1609!!! This is YOUR fault! Read your post and then just had to go look. Found a pen I'm certain I have to have. No, not the VP ... another one. I had done soooo good ... for a while, :headsmack:

USMCMom, I'm sure you know this, but the two best ways to save money on pens are:

1.) visit the "Market Watch" and "Classifieds" of FPN; and

2.) avoid like the plague the "Market Watch" and "Classifieds" of FPN.

Enjoy your pens!

LOL! That’s what happens USMCMom when you visit our close out or Specials page it can be too tempting. I know you are going to love this one. We just added some Field Notes Last night but you can only get to the page from the Front page.

Also: For International customers who just want to order a pen we can do First class or flat rate Priority shipping for less upon request. This kind of shipping comes with no insurance and buyer assumes all risks. These need to be light weight packages with out bottles of ink. Some countries with poor postal systems are not eligible for this service.

You should note this on your site; I've been put off ordering from you in the past by the high costs on your shipping page.

As usual, I'm always late finding these things. Hope there is still some Cyclamen Pink left.

I still have lots to give away and you are in for the pink. Thanks, Todd

Great! My little grand daughter has a pink Preppy (among a few others that Paw-Paw gave her!) and will be able to draw to her hearts content!

I am anxious to try out the Konrad!

I pulled the trigger. The hard part is always deciding in one of the big releases which seller to support. You got mine this time.

Hi FPN Members:

We just found out we were given the wrong price on the Konrad pens. The retail price is now $20.00 and not $24.00. I appoligize for the inconvenience. We will need to issue you all a refund. I am not sure what kind of a delay this will cause us. I will work on these refund and get your pens out ASAP.

Thanks for all of your orders. :notworthy1:

Todd

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
