Isellpens New Brand Asking For Feedback?

So...Why not use "Crotalus Pen Company?" The logo can be a rattlesnake coiled around a fountain pen.

Also, for the name of the ink you could use Venenum, which is Latin for "Venom." Of course, the Italian word for "Venom" is Veleno which would be much nicer to roll off the tongue.

Could be popular with medics. Also the venenum ink could be slightly green, a bit like R&K Verdigris.

Everything is impermanent.

Todd and I thank all of you for your feedback and pen brand ideas. So far, Todd has mentioned that Arizona Pen and Phoenix Pen are his favorite. I'm still undecided as there has been some very good names mentioned.

We are super excited about this new venture. It is something that we have been wanting to do for a very long time. We will be sharing more information in the coming weeks.

Thanks again for all of your support!

Hi there and welcome! Can't wait to see the new venture.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

"Maybe Todd, & Co." :P

Love the name but it's already has a copyright.

? Really?

I know somebody got "Mabie, Todd", but "Maybe Todd"? - now that's just odd!

I like the twist on a classic name "Maybe Todd, & Co.". It’s a good idea to pick a name that a search engine like Google will find distinctively. For example if you called it “Sea Pen” you would get a few thousand articles on soft corals.

Anything with “King” in the name sounds Chinese.

Make sure no one will confuse it for a personal monogram, which usually lowers the value of a pen.

I’d have to see it before I decide if I would get one. I like small nibs like classic pens, a little flex is good, and ebonite feeds are good. Black sections that don’t show stains are good. Using the same German nib Bexley and Edison use is NOT good. I’m getting board of that honking big #7 hard nib. The Noodler’s ebonite pen was really interesting though the cap and filling system could be improved.

Hi Todd, I think this is the best oportunity to say you: thank you for the beautiful brown leather portapens you sent me for free with the pens I bought from you. God bless you and your family.Greetings from México.

I was originally for Nussbaum Pen Company.. but it does sound a little 'stuffy'. I really like Copper State Pens but how about Old Pueblo Pens or Superstition Pens?

when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?

Old Pueblo Pens

Can you imagine a silver model with turquoise inserts? :) Coming with a poncho-styled striped fabric pen pouch

Penned Up Writing Instruments - "Let your writing loose!"

About a million logos come to mind, and the operative domain looks to be available.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
