Very nice, now i am tempted but me and OBB nibs are not getting along so OBBB is probably out of question.

AC, will this be for a specfic use i.e signing stuff or do you intend to use it as a daily scribe ?

Money may not make you happy but I would rather cry in a Rolls-Royce

Even with that huge nib, your handwriting is perfect. Congrats on a really wonderful pen, Adrian.

This is the factory nib! I sent my pen to MB to swap it out the orginal M nib. I wasn't expecting anything with this much line variation.

Orginally I bought it for just signing stuff, but I am going to try it as my daily scribe.

You won't be sorry. I have 3 of the 146 in this nib [long story]  and a Boheme fixed nib. The next time I can scrape together the cash, I'll grab a 149.

I am tempted to pickup a 146 in OBBB, but wasn't sure if they make that nib for 146. MB kept referring to the OBBB as the signature nib.

My error. The 146s are OBBs. It was my Pels that have the OBBB and they're blobby. :headsmack:

AC, Is the OBBB the 'signature nib' according to MB or is that something else ?

The gal at MB service explained to me that the signature nib is the OBBB and it is only offered on the 149.

When my ship comes in, that one is high on the list.

I used to think fine nibs were the only way to go. Blame GhostPlane.
I came here for the pictures and stayed for the conversation.
