Pretty nice pen :thumbup:, jean elie has one for sale,it is a very nice one

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

I was told it was possible to restore them. But this is the original reservoir, and it doesn't show any sign of fatigue so far, so let's hope I'll have to check this as late as possible.

There is one of these for sale on ebay ( 251179208309 ). Would anyone be able to advise on whether it is complete (it looks like it to my knowledgeable eye ).

It seems to be a complete model, but not this one, it looks more like the one reviewed here.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
