From the pictures the Click seems to be a retractable fountain pen a la the pilot VP / Decimo !!

Looking forward to seeing more about these

I'm still waiting for one of these in solid black (preferably with the option of silver-coloured trim) anyone know if this is on the cards any time soon?

Sincerely, beak.

Is there going to be an easy way to remove the clip off the retractable?

That picture of the mini is pretty old actually. The click is new, where did you see it?

From that picture I would say no.

It seems the mini can take a lot of ink for it's dimensions (ink chamber seems the same, but the filling unit is quite shorter).

A white VP has been on my list for a while now, but I think I'll wait to try this one out!

Recently got the white VP (and love it).

Very interested in the Click (just for comparative purposes,,,).

I think that the big chap in the comparison picture is a 530 rather than a 540, and that the filler mechanism in the Mini seems more like the 540's.

Ravensmarch Pens & Books
It's mainly pens, just now....

I have no interest in Facebook so thanks for posting this Kris. That Min is cute. I wonder what nibs will be availible? I'm going to try the 540 with an italic nib when they come out (and I have money).

Me too. I deactivated my account over a month ago and I don't miss it so I'm glad to get the information here. And now that I think about it, I think I'd rather have a cursive italic nib on a V700 than a mini.

Regards,

Issy

I mean this as no disrespect in the least to Speedy.

I would be surprised if at sometime, the retractable doesn't draw the unwanted attention of and reaction from the Pilot Legal department.

I'd bet money out of my pocket that they get their hands on one of the first ones sold.

Bruce in Ocala, FL-bet your bippy it will raise some eyebrows there

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
