Here, I few shots of the Ginga FP. Is cleary a Esterbrook DJ´s "inspiration" and have a very fine engraved of "Ginga" and nothing more. It is NOS, with the uruguayan customers label.

A Japanese Esterbrook knockoff! That is very cool! Never heard of a Ginga Pen company, though. Could they have been one of the in-house department store pens?

I don´t have any idea. I just found thats Ginga was a japanese celluloid pens manufacturer in the ´50 and ´60, for this example, cheap or school pens or for in-house use, like did you say, but take a look to the customer label, no doubt they´ve made them for export.
