Vintage Pel 400Nn Parts

Hi all,

 

I have a green-striated Pelikan 400NN that I would like to sell for parts or trade for Pel 140 parts.

 

Section OK

All threads OK

Barrel OK, nice pearlescent green

Filler button OK

Piston mechanism OK

Clip heavily brassed on edges

Captop has no brassing but shows a small dent

Capband OK

Cap has a hairline crack, polished it is barely visible, but it is there

 

Price $80 shipped.

 

I have a vintage 14k DF nib to go with it if somebody wants to buy the whole as a user... the nib is a bit scratchy and I am no expert at smoothing, so I am offering the nib at an extra $30. I do not sell the nib separately.

 

The pen itself works fine and it is a nice user if you don't mind the brassing. It can be a parts pen as well, but perhaps that would be a pity as there is really nothing wrong with it functionally, just visually.

 

I used it a little, but I like the 140 design and balance better, plus the nib that I would like to use is 140 size. I'm therefore also looking to trade this pen (with or without nib) for a green-striated 140 cap+body (no nib) of similar or better condition.
