I can't wait to get my bottle :)

Will the final label appearance be announced when the min. order (80 bottles total) has been reached....or can it be revealed sooner? I check the FPN ink label thread but I didn't see an official announcement.

Thanks to all who put their time and effort into getting this project off the ground :D

Label announcement coming soon.

$22.05 for a bottle of ink?

I sure hope it is entirely wonderful!

....and I'm sure that a portion of the $$$ helps offset the costs of this site! Thank Goodness they don't charge a percentage per item bought or sold on the Green Board!!!

I don't know if the Ink is wonderful, but the service of this website sure is!!!!

Hi all, Shipping for two bottles within the USA is actually $6.05. I have sent notice of this too all those that have ordered two bottles, however if I missed you somehow, hopefully you'll read this and add $1.25 to the shipping costs.

We'll get this information corrected shortly on the 1st page.

Now I'm off to find an Admin.....

Hello everyone,

We're now up to 66 bottles. If you know of someone that hasn't been around the boards lately, shoot them off a message to order their ink now. Only 14 bottles more and the Admins can place the first order!

It's getting closer and closer, I can't wait!

Email sent.

Go with the oval portrait on the label! It's the BEST! :)

By the way, is this intended to be a one-time-only sale, or will there possibly be more batches in the future?

Depending on demand, there could be more batches.

If you can stand to wait a little longer, there will be a review up on the board before the end of the weekend, with a lot of writing samples...

Rinsing and flushing all those pens, prior to doing the review, to a degree that they are really, really clean, takes a lot of time, unfortunately...

And I do hope the vial of ink I have is enough... :bonk:

Wim, does this ink exhibit the usual Noodler nib creep? I vaguely remember reading that Nathan has been able to get rid of that characteristic.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
