Now that folks are receiving their Pennants I would like to mention the PCA Election Ballot contained within. Firstly, it says they are to be returned by the 15th that has been extended to the 25th so everyone should have time to return their ballot. Secondly, though more importantly, it will be the last election in which the entire Board is up for a vote. This election will set the stager for the annual election of a third of the Board for three year terms and that is why you will be voting for one, two and three year term members this election.

 

So, please participate and mail your ballot as early as possible to Mr. Fred Hoenig, CPA who has been engaged as our independent tally coordinator. He has the official eligible voter list and will guarantee a fair election. To those that have volunteered to run show them your appreciation by voting.

 

As I live near Chicago, remember to vote early and vote often! ;)

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
