Thanks mate, the leather case holds 4 pens and even the 149 fits in easily, paid 310$ at a dealer instead of 430$ that Montblanc boutique quoted me, the dealer still has two in stock in case you're interested, the other side of the pouch welcomes a small notebook to take quick notes and was given to me free of charge by the same dealer (15$ @ MB boutique). I just placed another order this morning on a Dumas M nib (wrong signature) and wondering what ink color would suit this babe.

I bought the 146 OB ('70's) that was listed in our classified section. Bought it last weekend so I am waiting for FedEX to get it from the west coast to the east coast. Will be my first OB nib so I'm hoping I will like it.

I got the MB Geometric Classique today with a medium nib.happyberet.gif

The pale gold coloring is absolutely beautiful.clap1.gif

This is my first MB with a medium nib....love it.thumbup.gif

I was shocked when I inserted the converter & nib into the bottle of ink.yikes.gif

The converter started filling before I could even start the process.

Ok...I am in love.wub.gif

Thanks mate, it's Montblanc Meisterstuck Leather 4 Pen Zip Pouch And Memo 30374, Ident 16351. To tell you the truth, even at the Montblanc boutique in HK the sales have never seen this model, when i asked Montblanc customer service they replied me that it's a limited run and very few boutiques around the world had few in stock, i was lucky to find it at a reputable dealer in my city, he had only 2 in stock and i believe the other pouch is still available for sale.

The biggest pens fit without a problem (146, Shaw, Twain, John Lennon...etc)

Wow! That looks very clean. Is that a gray 146 or green? It's so hard to tell on the screen. Either way, it looks sweet

Thank you all for the comments!

It is a grey 146 that I was able to obtain not a while ago; and I have only one--maybe two word(s) for the pen: Wow! Beauuuuutiful~~

Here it is with its(half) brothers and sisters...

It's a 234½.

236PL is another that's tough to find, the price also tough.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
