So DizzyPen had asked a while back for some art of a dizzy pen, and since I'm not much for cartoons, I asked if I could get a student to draw the pen for her. She said that was fine and the kiddo got this pen and some J. Herbin black ink as payment. She was psyched of course, she had never sold any of her work before. And she does GREAT work, too. I posted it up here somewhere...

But she was irresponsible with it today. She left it on her desk at school to pass some work in and came back to a bent nib.

I saw her using a ball point and asked about her Prera and she said "Well... you're gonna be mad at me..." and she pulled it out. I told her I could fix it. No big deal. And don't leave your pen out!!
:roflmho:

Somehow I missed this....

THE HORROR!!! :yikes:

Poor little pen! Yes, yes you'll have to give her a crash course in fountain pen etiquette. At least she's using it and you were able to fix it.

I wondered where the great Avatar came from.

Good job. And a good lesson learned for her.

Yeah, since that happened, she's kept it in her hand or in her POCKET. She doesn't even leave it laying around in my class (and I'd help keep an eye on it too, since it would be ME fixing it). ;)
