Of course, but it will be several weeks out. I like to spend a bit of time with my pens. Maybe I'll do a mini review when I get it. :hmm1:

No email yet but I'm eagerly awaiting my 2 pens. Am very excited about trying out an entirely new pen before the whole world and his dog has the chance to play with it. Not sure what inks I will put in them yet but have definitely been thinking about it. Maybe CdA Saffron and JH Poussiere de Lune - my two faves at the moment.

I am starting to think this pen is like the unicorn... a mythical beast that you only hear about in legend and folklore... But waiting for mine none the less and will be surprised when it shows up....

I'm shipping pens as fast as I can. Customs forms rule my life! I'll probably process the rest of the orders this weekend when I have free time, and then mail out the last of the pens monday morning. Sorry if I haven't answered emails or spent much time doing customer service! I assure you I am trying to get these out in the most efficient way possible.

If any of you have a problem with the receiving your pen in the mail, email me @ markperdomo+halp@gmail.com . I am interested to know about any problems of pens getting to certain countries.

I'm really excited about everybody getting their pens, I'm trying to have all paid-for pens out before the first person gets their pen next Tuesday.

Currently inked pens:

Pilot M90 F- Iroshizuku Tsuyu-Kusa

Sailor 1911 EF - MB Blue

Twsbi Diamond 530 F-Noodler's "Taiwan Eternally Free" Black Strait

Thanks for the update. I'm sure you are doing the best you can to ship things quickly. Have most people paid for their pens?

Thanks for the update. I'm sure you are doing the best you can to ship things quickly. Have most people paid for their pens?

Last time I checked, something like ~210 out of 240 orders have paid (which means probably about 30 pens are potentially up for grabs). I am going to audit all orders this weekend and send off reminders. If they aren't paid within a week after next, I will give the (large, and ever growing!) wait list a crack at the pens, which should quickly exhaust the supply

I mentioned this in the email, but once the pen hits the US, use your same tracking number with USPS for better and quicker updates/status.

I like the fact this works because it means I can use dashboard widgets to track packages. Almost all support USPS, none I know of support Taiwan post

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
