A new-to-me Expert was delivered yesterday.  I think it's my third (fourth?) Waterman.

Back in the day I rec'd an Expert ballpoint as a high school graduation gift.  I still have it and love it.  Don't know why it took me so long to pick up a matching FP.

Ink samples to trade:  Levenger (Smokey, Blue Bahama, Always Greener, Skies of Blue, Fireball, Pinkly, Gemstone Green, Cobalt Blue, Raven Black, Cardinal Red, Cocoa, Amethyst); J. Herbin (Lie de The, Emerald de Chivor, Storm Grey, Rouge Hematite); Diamine (Purple Pazzazz, Bilberry, Ancient Copper, Blue Black, Indigo, and Damson); Sailor (Tokiwa-matsu, Souten); and Chesterfield (Antique Yankee, Night Sapphire, Antique Raven, Antique Walnut, Archival Black, Antique Jade)

Looking for: surprise me!

I've since added an Ideal 88 with a lovely semi flex nib.

And now a piano laquer Maestro with a medium nib.

Up to 6 now.

An Exclusive or Executive next, or maybe a Blue marble Laureat, or a Bordeaux Maestro or....

Scotland has the most beautiful, colourful, picturesque, history laden landscape in the world.....It's such a shame that you can only see it through a rain soaked car window.

My top tip :- Don't stand up in a canoe.

What is that pretty pen??

Breathe.  Take one step at a time.  Don't sweat the small stuff.  You're not getting older, you are only moving through time.  Be calm and positive.

Thank you, force. The seller identified it only as a "Waterman school pen". It is fitted with "a superb 23K gold-plated nib" in a fine point that feels reasonably smooth and I have, of course, filled it Bleu Pervenche.

I still want an Ivory Charleston, one day, and a Yellow, too. (not actively seeking, though)

I love the Charleston.

Having added another couple, my little family is now up to eight.

88 Ideal black/chrome (semi flex)
C/F brushed steel gt (semi flex)
Supermaster Gunmetal gt (med)
Laureat mk1 black gt (med)
Laureat mk1 silver guilloche (fine)
Laureat mk11 red/blk marble (med)
Maestro black laque gt (med)
Centurion green/grey gt marble (med)

I just love them all.
As a bit of an 80s throwback there's no surprise that I'm attracted (unwittingly) to pens from around that era.

In saying that, I love the earlier French Watermans too, and, the later Watermans, and I do like the more recent Watermans...In fact I think it might just be Watermans.
