First a Chinese made Ta Tung (text at upper left should be sung to tune of Beethoven's 5th). Actually a great little writer.
Very small. VERY small. Probably thinner than a bic b/p pen. Too small for me, really. Maybe it will be a PIF pen one day.

Japanese Brush pen. Camel hair bristles I believe. Plastic. Lots of plastic. Piston filler. Not so smooth,
but from something that was probably cheap, pretty good. Another PIF candidate.

It's interesting how we each have patience for different things. Looking at every line of your cross hatches would be painful for me to execute, while I wouldn't hesitate to take hours and hours over days at a time to practice execution of a musical passage.
What else do we have in life if not to help each other?

i like tedium in art. i also like to tinker with watches. THAT requires some ridiculous patience. my block carving too takes a lot of time.

I bought a sketch book, some sketch pencils...more inks ..
