FS: Sheaffer Legacy 1 - NEW - $95

Recommended Posts

This version of the Sheaffer Legacy was among the first three models released in 1995. It has a black lacquer body and a brushed gold cap with shiny gold clip and cap ring. I have a few of these to sell, and they are brand new in the box with all paperwork. Medium nibs only. This model is unique in that it has a touchdown filling mechanism which can be removed in order to use cartridges.

The price is $95 which includes priority mail shipping in the US and first class shipping elsewhere in the world.

Send PayPal to me at auctions@peytonstreet.com If you have any questions, send them to me there.

Thanks!

TERI

Postage update. These things are weighing a pound, so I am going to need to charge $6 postage to addresses other than those in the US and Canada. Even via first class, it will cost me over $10 to ship these to those locations. Sorry!

Just got mine Tuesday. A gorgeous pen and a great seller. These are exceptional pens, from Shaeffer at the height of their technological sophistication, and at this price they are a steal. no affiliation, just a very happy camper.

Yes, I still have some. $95 with free priority shipping if you're in the US, add $6 if you are outside the US (for first class postage insured).

I have just received mine, with no customs problems after all.

Pleasant ( and bilingual :D ) seller, and the pen is really superb.

Un saludo,

Tomás.

These are really outstanding pens and Teri is a great seller. If you ever wondered what the fuss is about a PFM, but don't want to fork out that much money, this is your chance to find out.

Got mine today! It is fantastic!!!!!!! I love it. Took me an hour to work out how to fill it, but once I mastered that, it is an absolute dream to write with! :cloud9:

Teri is a wonderful seller and would buy again from him in a heart beat!

Just inked mine today, immediately after getting it. Lucky I keep a bottle of Waterman BB in my office.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
