I'm very behind right now with the post cards. Hoping to get caught up tomorrow and Wednesday. Everyone on my list, expect a card soon (and my apologies for the delay)!

I have sent several out while a number of beautiful cards from all around the world arrived - Kabe (Mexico), Hari (India), Pietru (Malta), Pyotrkot (Canada, eh!) and several others that I cannot recall right now. Thanks to everyone!

I picked up some really nice cards that I would love to send out. Give me a holler!

Hari:

That card was in the mail in august or september!!! I thought I had lost 19 of the 20 PCs I sent back then, yet this week, I have had confirmation of about 4 or 5 more.

The Mexican post office stamp says 17Nov.

Best,

Hari

I received Kabe's card yesterday, also postmarked Nov 17.

I just finished writing out replies to recently received cards. Cards going out to jazztonight, OldNavy1988, Kabe, Hari317, InkyPete, Succubus, and FPWriting.

Enjoy...Steve C

I got some great postcards in this week, I've got some replies to send out tomorrow. I'm playing with my letter seals now on the corners of the cards. Sorry for the bulk, but then again they might not make it through the postal system.

Anybody remotely interesting is mad, in some way or another.

Postcards received yesterday from MikeW and Spotted N Speckled. Nice letter received from Pietru in Malta with a way cool stamp.

I am sorry that I haven't been good about posting here when I send or receive. /Craig

A number of cards received from sdcurnow, tr3n1ty, pyotrkot and have sent out PCs in response as well as one to vela. I am sorry but I can't seem to locate any seasonal PCs.

I still have quite a few left so give me a holler!

A card came in yesterday, a card went out today. However, I also found a stack of cards I thought I had mailed so ... oops. Those went out too. In at least one case I cannibalized a left over holiday card to use as a postcard.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
