Guess what we found when we did inventory?

Hey FPN'rs! Y'know, you find the coolest stuff buried in cracks, crevices, and corners when you perform an inventory...and that's exactly what happened when James, Kara, and I did it last weekend before we brought everything back to Iowa!

There were lots of cool things that we uncovered, and you'll see those soon, but here's one that caught my eye that y'all might be interested in.

We have ONE Bexley/FPN Simplicity LE left, and someone here ought to get it. Here's the skinny; it's the very last of the FPN limited edition Simplicities that Bexley did a few years ago, but this one is a little special. For $174.95 + shipping, you'll receive the whole kit 'n caboodle. What's the caboodle, you ask? Well, it's the brand new pen (and all boxes/paperwork, etc.), as well as THREE Schmidt stainless steel nibs (F/M/B) and navy blue sections! With this package, you can switch the nibs out at will, depending on how you're feeling! (Yes, I know the picture shows an 18K Bexley nib...sorry, this one doesn't come with that nib.)

It's the last one; when this one sells, there won't be any more of them. Now's your chance to get a bona fide collector's item, with the bonus goodies, too!

Click here to take a look!

It's all ready to go, and I doubt it'll last long, so get movin'! :)

Nice recovery there, Ryan. :) Be sure to post this in the For Sale section as well, because there are a lot of people who probably don't scan the marketwatch (I hardly do it myself, too). ~Gary

Yes, this is the first time I've ever looked at this part of FPN.

May you have pens you enjoy, with plenty of paper and ink. :)

Please use only my FPN name "Gran" in your posts. Thanks very much!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
