Recommended Posts

I have had no luck at all on this thread https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=127903 so I have decided to post here, in this forum, to see if someone would like my ‘mint’ condition Van Gogh Maxi Black with Rhodium trim, including papers, box, ink; - sale or trade welcomed.

This lovely, lonely pen, is sitting in its box, pining for someone to cherish it and look after it...

PM me if interested in giving this beautiful pen a new home...

Regards,

Charlieboy

Would consider a trade for a Sailor or US$195 (or Euro equivalnet) for sale, and it is a piston filler...

This is a piston filler (what is a 'power' filler?).

I think you mean c/c filler?

Platinum 3776 - F, Pilot Decimo - F, TWSBI Vac Mini - 1.1i

Limited edition Visconti, which the Maxi is not, come with double power fillers, which are a form of piston. Maxis are c/c filler and great pens for the money.

And mine is now up for sale, wait for it, at a price of $120, shipping charges (from the UK) on top of this great price...for a pen that has had just one refil and is with its box, papers, an un-opened bottle of black ink.

Still looking for a trade (or sale) something black with silver / rhodium trim, in very good / near new condition for my lovely but lonely Visconti Van Gogh Maxi...

Still hoping for a swap for a Stipula Model-T but will consider other 'similar' offerings...

Thanks,

Charlieboy

I have has some interest but the cost of shipping to Canada or the US seems to be prohibitive (about $105 USP) and I am ony asking $120 US for the pen...so it seems that I may have to think about keeping this for now.

I'm not clear - what's the nib size on the Van Gogh Maxi? And is it a 14k or a steel nib?

Decided, after much thought last night, to pass it on via 'Pass it Forward' and it is off (as a gift, free of charge) to someone in need of a good pen.

It's always nice to give and it was hanging around just waiting for me to make a decision :clap1:

Thanks for the interest though...

Kind Regards,

Charlieboy
