Family heirloom: Liver colored Parker 51 set, with 18K caps, & Stainless Steel Rolex Oyster, c. 1950.
Once upon a time, these were the everyday accessories of businessmen, who worn suits and hats.

So far, this is the nicest watch on the forum. (unless someone has a Patek Phillipe, but still, the Vacheron is hard to beat)

I'm new here. Have always had a passion for vintage automatic wrist watches. And fountain pens. My name is Sté, I'm a 36-year journalist gone corporate, and an American living and working in Switzerland. Hope you like what you see ...

Oohhh nice a Meistersinger, one of my possible choices when I chose my watch. They are very nice and elegant looking watches, how do you like yours?

Thanks, I really like it. It took me 5 years to find a watch which I really liked and for which I wanted to pay the money for. Been looking at Jaeger and Zenith, but now having found this watch I absolutely love it.

hi, lovely - especially the watch, of course. Looks like we both like vintage Oyster Perpetuals ... mine is 1942/43 and in excellent condition (and according to specialist made of all authentic parts - in a watch forum I was told the dial were restored. Appararently not so.) :-)
