I bought a pack of Pilot ink cartridges out of curiousity when I bought some other stuff from a Japanese seller. I don't really fancy pink - I was badly in love with pink as a child and kind of exhausted pink as a lovable colour back then. Anyway - I was curious and bought some cartridges, but didn't come around to using them until some days ago. I put it in my stylish, minimalist M90 (quite a contrast!) and out of the nib came...pink - squared and concentrated and almost flourescent. Its writing properties are just fine - on the dry side, but the colour is bizarrely pink. If you are looking for a bright, crazy pink for birthdaycards, 10-yearolds, or simply just love all shades of pink - this is your (p)ink. OK - it is hard to be angry when writing with this ink, but it is a little bit too much for me. I guess I've made my point. It was fun trying it, though.

It was hard to capture the exact shade, but I believe the photos are rather accurate.

Edited to add better photos.

Yes! As a matter of fact - if anyone would like the remaining cartridges for a pink devotee - send me a PM and I'll ship them to you. It IS a fun ink, but I will not use it. (I've become such a boring adult...!)

It looks remarkably like the ink called 'Red' that you get in cartridges for the Platinum Preppy...

I wanted a red that I could use at work to mark up things that needed attention. I had a red Preppy cartridge that I hadn't used, so I tried it. I didn't get a Serious Red. I got a very girly Hot Pink.
