Dealt With Ebay Member "posarro"?

Hey FPN

I recently won a SOENNECKEN 307 on Ebay through seller "Posarro". I am very punctual when it comes to making the payment and tried doing the same for this one too. But Paypal gives me an error saying something like "Unable to process due to Seller's restrictions.", even though the item description listed Paypal as a valid payment method. I have messaged him twice but he has not replied yet. Ebay list him as being from South Carolina but he seems to be originally from Italy (atleast the item was located in Italy).

Has anybody dealt with him before? If yes then please advise.

Thank you in advance ....Markiv

It happened to me last week. For me it had to do with the seller not shipping to where I live. Your guy probably had that or something similar attached to his goods. Sorry

Thanks

Your seller has over 4400 sales and a 100% feedback. Don't worry. He will eventually contact you. Posarro is a reliable seller.

He's a good seller. But he doesn't use EBay checkout and that's why you got that error message. He sends a Paypal invoice to your email directly for payment.

I bought a leather pen case from him recently, which went very well, so I bought another, which went smoothly too.

Although PayPal was for some reason not available through the normal eBay links, I found an email appeared from him very soon after each transaction with a PayPal link.

Regards,

Andy

Be aware that if you don't pay using paypal, you have no protection from ebay if the deal went sour.

Best regards, Kai

I just received a mont blanc boheme in the mail from Posarro. As in earlier transactions, all went smoothly (and the pen is lovely!), so be of good cheer :)

I dealt with Posarro in the past and I can confirm he is a reliable seller. He's got some nice pen rest too...

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
