Well pen fans I recently found a deal and need a place to brag. Oh wait a minute. I'm a Canadian, we don't brag... we SHARE! :) Sharing the wealth, I believe that's what it's called these days. :) Enjoy the rest of the reading.

Good deal and nice writing! Looks like the nib mod was worth every penny. Nice to see the shading on that ink.

Thank you for an interesting review. And congrats on a great deal.

I think think the Expert II is a very underrated pen. I have three of them, and I have yet to pay retail for one - but I did not get as good a deal as you. I happen to have one with a factory B nib - and I like it as is. But my product on paper doesn't look as good as yours.

A super deal indeed! Enjoyed your thoughts on this pen as well as the handwriting.

Nice! Was that an eBay find?

What a coincidence...
I was also offered a Waterman Expert for my birthday, some weeks ago - though not so nice looking, it is greyish. But it is far from the most interesting pen I have - I did get some nice ones for my birthday, offered or bought on that pretext. I wasn't seeing myself using that waterman as is, so I am just about to order a cursive nib for it. That should bring some interest to the poor pen - I haven't inked it yet...
And after seing this, sepia seems a nice color to use with a cursive nib!

great pen and handwriting
In the days gone by, people believed that if a person touched an object, that object would form a bond with a part of their soul.
Today such a thought seems almost absurd....Until you enter the realm of Montblanc's master craftsmen.
