Sunny in Melbourne - but freezing!

Wait. Wait.

Now it's cloudy, windy, rainy and freezing in Melbourne.

I'm not, really. My glory days were the 'eighties, when Hawthorn ruled the roost, and I was a kid.

Now, with a young family and no television, football seems very far away.

Sorry for my absence...I was busy holidaying in Vanuatu as Yuki so rightfully mentioned. It was a lovely 29 degrees there and be-au-ti-ful.

How's this going to work? Should I just pull out a Rhodia cahier and start writing something and mail it to the next person? Alternatively, I'm happy to donate a square grid Moleskine book but I'm not sure if everyone uses grid paper.

I'm happy to join!

I'm out west, 350kms up the coast from Perth and it is now raining (at least the farmers will be happy).

Whatever you all agree to is fine with me. Just tell me who I should send my address to.

Thanks and cheers,

Mark.

hi Everyone!

I'm glad you agreed to my suggestion of using our own pens. I was dreading being the messy one who ruined this journal by not cleaning the group pen enough and relying too much on the gentle treatment with which Australia Post handles our parcels!

Feiye, lucky you escaping to a tropical island with French cuisine!

Rhodia, from all reports, would suit any pen, whereas Moleskines seem a bit more unreliable, but I've never tried the latter.

Cheers from Miranda in Geelong, Vic
Warm Regards, Miranda

Rhodia sounds good =). I can meet up with you for coffee and save you the postage cost if you'd prefer that.

Hi all

Maybe the Sydney folks can get together for the coffee? I saw feiye's handwriting on her site and want to see the pens that wrote :-) The handwriting is lovely. I don't have any flexi nibs and am keen to see how they write.

Hi Folks!
Will it be best if a list of the group is enclosed within the notebook - with maybe the idea that a PM to the next person will get their mailing details?
I look forward to representing Tasmania.............wet and grey and quite cold as it is right now!

Mike, I think that's a great idea. I'm just not sure if it will be possible to get everyone's timetables in sync for that but we'll see what we can do =). Chris, I will include 'the list' with the notebook or send a PM/email around.

I have family in Sydney, so if you are getting a meeting together - can I have the details please - I may just be able to combine it with seeing the kids and grandkids!

Cool beans, no problemos. I'll bring some stuff along and we can rifle through it, let me get back to you on the time though 'cause I'm still in holiday mode.

I'd love that! I hear quite a few of us visit Alexanderino at work on Sundays as it is. I'd be happy to bring along some pens for you to try out Mike.
