Hi
i picked up this new red demo sometime back. It is an ERO FP. In red demo. Almost like the transparent pelikan 200 series. Hope this brief review has some help.

Thanks for contributing the first ERO pen review, FP Writing. smile.gif

I've seen some other examples... not many, though. One was with a steel cap and it had a beautiful imprinted pattern, very Art Deco. It looked to be well made, but I didn't take a chance and buy it (seller on "that auction site" was asking a bit much). I wonder what the story is behind that pen company? Your example looks like it is made of more modern materials. Do you remember where you found it? Is there any kind of model indicator?

Apparently these have been discussed before on FPN. Here's a thread: ERO fountain pens

It seems little is known about them. Some say they'd used ERO pens several decades ago. Anyway, purchase prices seem rather low. A couple of people said they obtained them for around $10 shipped. Sounds pretty good for a demonstrator piston filler of very good build quality. smile.gif

Hi
i won this Ero on an ebay auction
seriously i do not know the street price of this pen. This brand don't seem very common, and the trim only has the indication of "ERO Germany". No other no or inscription can be found.
But the piston filling does hold quite sustaintial amount of ink

best regards

Thank you for the review of this beautiful pen. I like your handwriting, it's easy to read yet has character!
