Lovely to see all these CS! It is fun to see how broad the colour range is and which difference colour can make.

My Amber Bespoke CS Duro arrived today. I made a quick and dirty picture. Will post more (and better) pics later hopefully. Now i only want to write with it. I love this colour, the material is a bit translucent. Me happy

Lovely colour. I couldn't imagine that the amber could be that pretty! Congratulations to a handsome pen!

Oh, that is hot! Even in the the quick and dirty picture, it is clear that the colour is gorgeous!

I want another bespoke Dandy in amber!!

Just shows how deceptive the colour swatches are, I'd completely discounted the amber based on those. That pen looks lovely, look forward to seeing some proper photos of it.

Here are some photos of my Amethyst Duro. I've tried to capture the elusive colour(s), but it is real hard - it is elusive.

Thanks, these give a great sense for what the material looks like. It seems that the visibility of the colour depends on light and focus. The parts of the pen that you focus on most directly "light up" while the other parts appear almost black. When you write with this pen in public, it will look like you are using some sort of magical instrument!

Yes, exactly. I dismissed the amber based on the sample swatches, but this looks absolutely gorgeous!

Here's some quick snaps of my Heather 58. Still very undecided about it. If you look at the Heather 100 posted above that seems to have more purples in it and is nicer, whereas mine seems to have a lot of yellow. Maybe it'll grow on me. I was also disappointed that the nib isn't quite in alignment with the lever. I did see if I could unscrew the nib, but couldn't.

Carrie, your 58 is a gorgeous pen! The heather color is really tempting me. I just can't settle on a color. One day, I think bronze. The next day I want the dartmoor. Then I saw the turquoise fleck and liked that. Then the amber was posted above and it looks great. Now again I see this heather 58 which I think looks abosolutely great. I'm really impressed you all were able to make a color selection from such a wide selection.

Wow, but I think that is stunning, Carrie. I can't say it any better than Garfield did, so that is my hope also. As far as the lever lining up with the nib, I can understand how it can be unnerving to see it "off" every time you use it. Although it isn't noticeable i your photos, it must be off just enough to distract. Do you ever go to pen shows so that you could have a repair guru remove the section and realign it?

Thanks for all the nice replies to my first photo. I made some more. I'm not really a pen photographer or photoshop guru. The colour comes out a bit too orange in the pictures. I added a pic of the Duro together with a Pelikan M600.

Thank you for posting these. It is an awesome pen! Might the open bok, that the pen rests so comfortably upon, be an Edgar Allan Poe tale?

I'm going to have to stop reading this thread... It's making me want things that I can't afford!

Beautiful pens, everyone. (Can't wait for my Duro to arrive, so that I can post my picture!)
